We had a lovely weekend of anniversary celebrations. Saturday,November 6th, the actual day we were married, we went to dinner at Lawry's Prime Rib. We had a beautiful, romantic dinner, just the two of us, and celebrated 40 wonderful years together. Sunday we had our marriage blessed at church plus we had our long time pastor and friend, Fr. Ted Nelson, bless the James Avery silver cross that Larry gave me. It is so pretty and is cherished by me.
Delicate Ribbon Cross with Garnet
The ribbon is tied into a bow to remind us of Christ's love and sacrifice. The color RED suggests and symbolizes suffering and martyrdom for the faith, and the supreme sacrifice of Christ upon the Cross. Divine love and majesty are also typified by this color.
Sunday evening the kids took us to dinner at Luna de Noche...one of our favorite Mexican Restaurants... It was truly a weekend of joyful celebration.
I have created a short 7 minute video that tells about our life together... You should be able to click the arrow...or play button below to view it...I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed compiling 40 years of wonderful. There is a story... behind each picture. Maybe someday I will write about them. :)

Also... on the right bottom there are 4 arrows going in 4 different directions.. IF you click that it will enlarge the video to full monitor screen. Thank you for sharing this beautiful memoir of your marriage and your family. It was awesome for me to have a glimpse into your life - we are related and yet our lives do not cross paths as much as they should. I hope with all my heart that we are able to keep in touch and nurture the extended family. You are a very beautiful woman and I feel blessed to call you "my cousin." This video was so touching and brought tears to my eyes - thank you for allowing me to share your precious memories. Love - Carlene
