May is an important month of celebrations in our family... Our annual Swann Family Reunion starts the month out celebrating my dad's family in East Texas.

KK's important 18th birthday
The biggest event of the month though was Graduation Sunday when two of my grandchildren, Pierson and Katelyn graduated on the same day from high school. We had a Graduation Party for Pierson at our house on the Saturday evening before graduation.
We served brisket and lots of sides and enjoyed an intimate time with family in celebration of Pierson's wonderful accomplishment. We then watched the graduation slide show I put together for him... Lots of laughter and enjoyment as we viewed the wonderful progression of Pierson's life. Ashton ended the evening with a beautiful song in tribute to her brother... We were really blessed.
Katelyn's graduation party was directly after graduation on Sunday. We all gathered at her Grandpa and Janet's condo to celebrate her wonderful day. The reception was just lovely with lots of wonderful food and love from friends and family. I had a graduation slide show for Katelyn too...and we all laughed and sniffed our way through the many wonderful pictures of Katelyn's life. We ended the evening with her big surprise of a brand new SUV from her Grandpa Lundy and Janet... Our KK was so excited and it was a joy to be able to share her joy.
